Fiona is a Brisbane based full-time still life oil painter. With her quiet still life paintings, Fiona hopes to nourish and support the daily lives of her collectors …  to call them to rest their eyes, pause and bathe in the quiet present moment.

She is fascinated by the everyday objects that we choose to surround ourselves within our homes which are often carefully collected and curated throughout our life travels. Fiona often selects vintage collectables from her home, combining  classical themes and historical contexts. Fiona’s works tell quiet stories about the objects  and the interrelationships within her still-life scenes. She enjoys exploring the curious quality of light as a symbol of the fleeting still moment and paints in her purpose built art studio set within her flowering garden.
